Musogabi

I'm a Korean American singer-songwriter/guitarist working towards releasing a Chamber Pop/Folk Rock/Singer-Songwriter project as my debut album. That's all quite label-heavy, yes, but what I want to do is make music so earnest that no one can ignore it. It's inspiring to watch the South Korean influence grow in western media & entertainment, but I can't help but be afraid of the image/box that they are being reduced/put into. There is a gaping East Asian-shaped hole in the western music industry that desperately needs and is trying to be filled. I want to do my part with an upcoming project of sincere & thoughtful songs rooted in folk/rock traditions and glazed in orchestral arrangements.
