Mrinalini Tewari

Mrinalini Tewari ­­­­­­is an Indian singer-songwriter, award-winning documentary filmmaker and music Producer. Based out of Mumbai, Mrinalini is one of the leading contemporary musicians in India. Trained as an Indian classical singer she experiments across different genres of music like Hindustani classical music, folk music and Jazz. She brought Indian classical elements with the jazz maestro Igor Butman Quintet at National Centre for Performing Arts’, which also made headlines later in the edition of Business India magazine, CNBC and Rolling Stone India. She has given music and been the voice for various films and has also performed across India’s leading Musical Festival stages. Mrinalini has been a sound recordist for a series of tribal films shot for Madhya Pradesh tribal government with the 7 times national award winning director. Recently she released her new solo ‘Naina’ an Indian classical melody in which she has collaborated with artists from Turkey and Iran. She is now collaborating and co-producing with a renowned French Artist Mark for a new album which is expected to release towards the end of this year.
