Moonlover is the recording project of Quang Dinh, formerly of Little Red. Over the course of nine months in 2017, in his personal oasis Pink Slime Studios, he wrote, performed and recorded what was to become his debut album, Thou Shall Be Free. He formed a live band after finishing the recording and they began playing shows mid 2017. Subsequently, he signed to Melbourne label Our Golden Friend in 2017 and released his debut album in March of this year to glowing reviews. Recorded and co-produced with Nick Huggins (Jen Cloher, Fraser A Gorman, Skipping Girl Vinegar) at A Pocket Full of Stones Studios in the sleepy beachside town of Point Lonsdale, Victoria and co written with ARIA Award Winner Joel Quatermain (Eskimo Joe) – ‘Howlin at the Moon’ is set to drop in early 2018.
Moonlover has performed in Sofar Melbourne.
