Mitchell Matthews (of Mitchell Matthews Media) is an artist/singer-songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri that seamlessly blends acoustic, emo, pop, and even comedic elements into a nice sad (but not always sad) boi package. What sets Matthews’ music apart from other acts, aside from his dense, emotional lyricism and sharp sense of storytelling, is his love for collaboration. While he writes the lyrics/melodies and sings on his songs, the instrumentation is primarily handled by a multitude of his very talented collaborators/friends, so his brand is just as much, if not more, a creative collective than it is a solo venture.
