Mic Phelps is a poet, an emcee, and a Detroiter. After taking some time to focus on spoken word (named the 2018 winner of the Motown Museum's "Motown Mic" series), Phelps has returned to music with renewed energy and perspective, and is slated to release his first full body of work in 2019.
