Mel Bryant & The Mercy Makers

Mel Bryant & the Mercy Makers are a Nashville based indie rock band by way of NYC and Philadelphia, making hard hitting rock n’ roll for the restless soul. A gritty, guitar driven sound is met with a unique feminine energy that is equal parts powerful and sensitive, groovy and grungy, memorable and true. The group lives together in East Nashville and runs a home recording studio, Electric Church Records, where they produce their own music and work as a backing band for various local artists. Their breakout single Never Thought has garnered over a half a million streams and was named a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. They’ve since been playing shows and festivals across the country, from Sundance to GroundUp to Okeechobee, from Manhattan to Montreal to Miami, honing their craft, sharpening their teeth and softening the hearts of captivated audiences. Their sophomore release, the 'Muscle Memory' EP, is out now on all streaming services.
