MEÏA Santiago

Meïa is an award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, and actor originally from Barcelona, Spain. She earned a degree in Jazz and Modern Music Performance from ESEM Taller de Músics and made a name for herself touring across Spain. She released the EP Mülzien 25 (produced by Dani Vega of Mishima) and the album Lighthouse under the label Picap. In 2018, she relocated to New York City, where she has since performed at iconic venues like Joe’s Pub, Nublu, DROM, and City Winery. Her work blends pop, jazz, and soul, often exploring themes of womanhood, love, and resilience. In 2021, she released Stoop nº 6 with Paradise Hill Productions and Blak Emoji’s Kelsey Warren. She also composed the score for Fantastic Mr. S, which premiered at the United Solo Festival in 2022. Her 2023 jazz-pop ballad I Can’t Stay Away From You, produced by Morris Hayes, won international awards and topped radio charts in Spain. In 2024, she released Sexappeal—again with Hayes—earning the Best Original Song award at Music of Parai International Film and Music Festival (August 2024) and the Best Pop Song of the year on LDM Radio in NYC in June 2025. Her latest single, Love is a Rose (April 2025), is a tribute to Mary Oliver’s poetry. The track celebrates mature love, resilience, joy, and vulnerability.
