Starting his musical career at 15 recording on Keziah Jones' seminal album "Black Orpheus" Mcknasty has played with Robert Glasper, Lilly Allen, Wretch 32 and Stormzy to name a few. One of the most enigmatic characters in UK live music he has built a reputation for bringing a palpable energy to every stage he graces. After years as a session musician and MD, and developing a unique drum/DJ set up McKnasty is ready to present his own music to the world , channeling everything he has learned into the relationship between an artist and their audience whether recorded or live. His Debut EP "As things Grow" is due for release early 2020. Expect a drum led fusion of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Gospel, and his love of Disney esq string arrangements.
