Mari is an independent Latina artist from Los Angeles, performing at hundreds of venues in southern California, from Disneyland to Hollywood. She combines Latin fusion covers with originals to create a lively atmosphere for almost any crowd, and she just released her first Spanglish single this year. She prides herself in emotionally charged lyrics and smooth beats and, as a creator, describes her work as authentic, empathetic, and pure.  She aims to make music that empowers women to feel comfortable embracing who they are and what they stand for - as she strives to do the same.  As a child of parents from very different backgrounds, she takes pride in making music that connects to the Latin community by bridging the gap for people like herself, who were born in the US but remain attached to the families, communities, and traditions that remain the foundation of their upbringing.
