Maiwa (FKA OtherPeople) is an electronic R&B project from Vancouver. The band consists of Kristie McCracken, Sean Bayntun, Phil Harbut, and Sean Bletcher.. Formed in early 2014, the band has written, recorded, and produced their first LP that focuses on ideas of intimacy, atmosphere, and exploration of electronic sound blended with traditional arrangement. Maiwah is currently finishing their debut album and booking shows.
