Luiza Sales is a brazilian singer and songwriter that makes brazilian music with jazz influence. In 2012 she released her first CD, “Breve Leveza”. In the repertoire, songs written by Young composers from Rio de Janeiro and also songs written by Djavan and Rosa Passos – her main musical influences. Brazilian styles such as bossa nova, samba and baião appear in this diverse and eclectic album, produced by Daniel Garcia, who flew from L.A. to Rio just to work with Luiza. She toured arround Brazil, playing in different stages in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. As a member of the vocal group Ordinarius, she recorded and was the executive producer of the album “Ordinarius”, touring with the grup in Brazil and also performing in Germany. In 2013, Luiza won the Berklee Lollapalooza Scholarship and is a student of the Masters in Contemporary Performance at Berklee College of Music, in Valencia - Spain.
