Lilla Shy


Lilla Shy is a London based singer, songwriter and producer who attributes her name to a blanket she’s had since she was born, which became her soft amulet in times of social anxiety. Lilla started her writing journey in 2017 with releases on labels such as Warner, Sony and Hexagon, but only in July 2022 started her autobiographical artist Indie Pop project. Since then she's gained tremendous radio support from John Kennedy at Radio X, Dean Jackson on BBC Introducing, and recently performed live on BBC 5Live for Patrick Kielty and BBC Radio London for Jaxx Shepherd. Her singles have also landed on multiple Spotify editorial playlists such as Borderless, Fresh Finds, New Music Friday. She released her debut album, 'Layers' on 20th September 2024 followed by a tour around the UK (Nottingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, London, Alton, York), which started with performing for BBC Introducing Live.
