Katie Ferrara is an award winning alternative pop singer/songwriter from Los Angeles who writes honest and authentic music with an ethereal flair. As Buzz Music puts it, she's got a "tender approach to life that bursts from her guitar and vocal chords in a way that's both charming and reassuring". She began her career as a busker on the streets of Burbank, CA and from there has toured internationally at notable street festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland, Ferrara Busker's Festival in Italy, Chur Buskers Festival in Switzerland and Busker's Braunschweig in Germany. She has even performed in New Zealand as part of Toyota's Feeling the Street program and written a book about her travel experience called "Stories from the Street". Recently, she won an online global singing competition called Musicash for a grand prize of $40,000 thanks to the help of her dedicated fans. These days Katie performs regularly 5 star hotels in Los Angeles as well as songwriter venues such as the Hotel Cafe.
