Imagine the reminscing sound of 80s pop music with a modern twist, dreamy vocals
over the sound of synthesizers blasting through your stereo as you drive into the
night. If done correctly, you have now visualized what indie synth-pop band Kasetes
sounds like. Formed in Vaidava, Latvia, back in 2012, the members of Kasetes
(Rudolfs and Karlis Zagorski, Oskars Tupurins, and Janis Liepins) have composed a
score for a short film, released their debut album and created some seriously catchy
remixes for popular Latvian songs and are currently working on their upcoming
album, featuring the voices of MNTHA, Podruga, and Mona Lesko (Anete Stuce).
