Kalyani Singh is a singer, songwriter, and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Her releases to date include, "You and I", "Caught in a Blackout," and her 2023 EP, "Reaching." Her voice is textured by the diverse influences from her childhood - from folk and choral music, to Hindi songs and musical theatre. Inspired by musical storytellers such as Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, and Mitski, she marries imagistic lyrics and dark, haunting instrumentation with dynamic, soaring vocals. Her recent work, "Reaching," explores a journey of grief, longing, and transformation.
