KALME is a female vocal trio consisting of Monta Kurme, Inese Bērziņa and Paula Pētersone. Gentle madness where delicate and soulful harmonies intertwine with rough and real emotions. The group's repertoire includes various lullabies for adults - both soft ballads and American folk, as well as blues and singer-songwriter style songs. KALME's love for the inner, raw emotional power of the human voice manifests itself both in a cappella arrangements and in compositions where the warm tones of the double bass of Toms Valmiers and the guitar of Miķelis Vanags are added. KALME's live concerts conjure multi-voiced soundscapes and an intimate atmosphere in which to immerse yourself, forget, and listen to the true stories woven into the songs about love, pain, and other such different aspects of life.
