Jun Yoon is an alternative R&B guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Dallas, Texas. He began playing guitar at age 13, inspired by blues greats like Stevie Ray Vaughan and B.B. King. As his artistry developed, his attention turned to songwriting and producing, taking heavy influences from neo-soul and hip-hop legends like J. Dilla and D'Angelo. With a guitarist background, he brings a musician’s focus and a bluesy persuasion to R&B and hip-hop instrumentals. Also informed by a love for pop and classic singer-songwriting, his songs remain accessible via soulful melodies, straight forward hooks, and personal lyrics that are honest before they are artistic.
