The daughter of a music-loving farmer and a spunky ballerina, native El Pasoan Jenna Ivey grew up surrounded by the arts. In 2017 Jenna joined her family band, The Iveys, as a co-writer and vocalist, releasing the EP Colors of Honey in 2019 and touring nationally. As a solo performer, Jenna experimentally weaves her melodies with lyrics that hurt, to create a sound that is both familiar, and new. Pixie fusion, alternative folk pop, lazy jazz, are all terms that touch upon the sound she claws at with her small (but sincere) ukulele, and her voice.
Jenna Ivey has performed in Sofar El Paso.
