Jaga Klimaszewska & Kasia Ziminska

Mousikos artists Kasia and Jaga have come together for a Mousikos x Sofar gig. Jaga Klimaszewska obtained her Bachelor of Music Diploma from Guildhall School of Music and Drama and she completed a Master of Performance at the Royal College of Music. In June 2018 she won the 2nd prize in the “Citta di Padova” International Competition in Padova, Italy. Jaga has taken part in many Workshops and Music Festivals in Europe. She performed as a soloist and as a chamber musician in Poland, France, Austria, Germany, Russia, Switzerland and the UK in concert halls including Cadogan Hall, Elgar Room, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre, Musikverein in Vienna, Unesco Hall in Paris and Mozarteum in Salzburg. As well as her versatile music career Jaga also enjoys organising events. Together with her friend Romana Szczepaniak she started the st Johns Music Concert Series (www.stjohns-music.com) in Kensal Green, west London. She is also a part of the unconducted chamber orchestra Silk Street Sinfonia which she manages and performs with (www.silkstreetsinfonia.com). Kasia Ziminska is a violinist and violist based in London, where she studied at the Guildhall School of Music, and Royal College of Music. She has performed in masterclasses with Maxim Vengerov. Recent performances include violin concertos with Silk Street Sinfonia, viola recital at the Barbican, live broadcasts on BBC Radio, and classicalplanet.com. Kasia is passionate about a variety of musical pursuits, such as chamber music, historical performance, classical improvisation, and contemporary music. She plays with prizewinning groups - Salomé Quartet, and Chagall Piano Quartet. She works with leading new music ensembles such as Stanford and Harvard resident Distractfold Ensemble, and London PlusMinus Ensemble.
