Isolde was raised in a family of potters and painters, which explains the visual, tactile sound she creates in her work. Her songs are collages of found trinkets, field recordings and surreal stories of the everyday, where the urban beats of her cityscape hypothesise with the forces of nature. Her live performances portal you into her sonic fantasy with the aid of loops & samples, while hydrating you in a warm bath of vocal harmonies. Isolde's work has been compared to Hanne Huckleberg, Tune-yards, Cosmo Sheldrake and Coco Rosie, and has been flavoured as a dreamfolk-toytronica, with added 9ths and pina coladas. 2015 saw the well-received release of Isolde’s debut EP, Seed Bud Bloom, & 2016 eagerly awaits her 2nd EP, Holy Cow, a scrapbook of songs & field recordings made on a recent musical trip to India/Nepal.
Isolde has performed in Sofar Bath.
