I started my craft in late 2017 but professionally in early 2018 performing on couple of poetry platforms and stages in and out of Kampala. Started out my first poetry performance when I was presented with an opportunity to perform on a poetry platform dubbed Tontoma supported by 32°Arts Trust later moved to Kelele a poetry platform organized by students from Makerere University Kampala an avenue to allow students express themselves. In 2018 worked with Spoken Word Uganda that used to host monthly poetry slams and later that year I won my first poetry slam in March that year. I use poetry as a tool for social change and environmental justice. In 2018 around April was chosen among the few poets to perform at an event organized by the Pan African Women association to commemorate the demise of the Late Winnie Madikizela Mandela. In August 2018 I joined a poetry group called Kitara Nation which later introduced me to theater poetry. I was humbled to be part of the cast for the production titled “Arrest the Poem” that which was chosen to represent Uganda at the Kampala International Theater Festival that was held at the Uganda Museum In March 2019 I had my first one man-show dubbed Nzhe a Lusoga phrase that translates into ME where I was supported by a local Afro-soul artist called Andereya Baguma which was organized by a Christian poetry platform called Ekigambo. I kept working under Kitara Nation travelling to different school and community tours and later in 2019 performed with the group at the famous Bayimba International Arts Festival.
