Isa Marina Lopez, better know by her stage name Isa, is a singer, songwriter and model. Born in Bronx, New York to Dominican and Cuban parents, Isa quickly became a product of the urban-Latino culture that surrounded her, and later, the larger more eclectic culture that encompasses all of New York City. As a teen, Isa received classical vocal training at the Marianela Sanchez School of Music in the Dominican Republic. This training is reflected today through Isa’s complex, yet effortless technique and sheer vocal power. Since returning to the U.S., Isa has performed on many iconic NYC stages such as The Bitter End, Tammany Hall, SOB’s [Sounds of Brazil], Drom, The Theater at Madison Garden, among many others. In April 2013, Isa released her debut EP Montage, which generated industry buzz by way of the EDM-influenced “Safehouse” and hauntingly beautiful “You & I.” March of 2016, Isa released, ‘Take it Slow, the 1st single from her coming sophomore EP, ‘Mirrors Volume I’, which received fond attention from leading music magazines such as: The Source, Global Grind, SoulBounce, Rolling Out Magazine, and a print feature in Latin Trend Magazine’s May issue. ‘Mirrors Volume I’ is set to release this Fall.
