IFI UDE is an independent Polish artist of Nigerian origins. She is a music producer, lyricist, composer and singer.
Ifi was nominated for a Fryderyk in 2014 as debut of the year, for an album which she released in 2013 thanks to the help of her fans and a successful crowdfunding campaign. She has released a book called Zebra (pub. Poławiacze Pereł). Ifi made it to the semi-finals in Poland’ s 3rd edition of Must Be The Music and recorded a wildly popular track called "Nie masz cwaniaka nad warszawiaka” (a cult tune) to African beats.
She has played massive stages at Open’er Festvial, Fjúžn Festival (Slovakia), Art Geni Festival (Georgia), Ethno Jazz Festival, Festiwal Transkaukazja and more.
Most recently, the artist debuted to rave reviews as an actress in Jerzy Skolimowski’s latest hit film (Poland’ s candidate for an Academy Award) 11 Minutes.
