Fermata Town

Founded in 2009, Fermata Town is a Boston-based mixed vocal band and a proud member of the Contemporary A Cappella League (CAL). The Townies have worked hard to make a name for themselves in the a cappella community, recording three award-winning albums while also competing and placing in several competitions including the National Harmony Sweepstakes, Sing That Thing, A Cappella Armageadon and Boston's Outside the Box festival. The group has auditioned for several nationally televised broadcasts including The Sing Off and America's Got Talent and was selected to compete in a locally televised competition run out of the WGBH Boston Studios called Sing That Thing! in which the group was crowned the Small Adult Champions during the first season which aired in 2015. The Townies pride themselves on their original arrangements, unique sound that melds pop and jazz, and the ability to maintain a healthy balance between their music and active lifestyles as full-time working professionals.
