Grace Twomey is a dynamic London-based professional flautist, holding a Masters degree in music performance. As a freelance musician she performs a wide range of repertoire - from classical orchestral settings to intimate jazz venues, from composing and performing for Latin American bands (such as Afro Medusa) to recording pop music at esteemed studios like Abbey Road. Now, for the third consecutive year, she eagerly brings this eclectic blend of experiences to the Hampton Court Palace Festival. Joined by her colleague Omar Rios Melendez, Grace promises an exciting performance that seamlessly weaves together her diverse musical journey. Together, Grace and Omar offer a musical fusion experience that's sure to enchant listeners. Omar Rios is a Nicaraguan guitarist and composer living in London. He started playing the guitar at 11 years old and has played in several countries throughout a 19 years of career, including Nicaragua, Colombia, Russia, the United States, Belgium, Spain, Costa Rica, Honduras, and the UK. His music is influenced by flamenco, rock, jazz, fusion, and Latin American music, among many others.
