It started out as singing old soul and blues records with your Grandma from way back when. You grow and start to learn, understand about the realities of this life and all the things it has to offer. You get your first guitar and you learn everything from Brushy One Strings “Chicken in the Corn” to Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing”. Play air guitar at 3am in your room that’s a garage. Dream about being on stage one day in a country you’ve never been to. As you age things begin to connect when you decide that this whole music thing is the path for you. Though it maybe intimidating and uncertain you know that this is the life you want. You work your way around town, busking on street corners, and playing at local coffee shops and venues. During this time, you’ve started writing your own songs. People are starting to hear your tunes, and they’re starting to relate those things to their own lives. They start bringing their friends to your shows and next thing you know you’re playing these tunes in front of your friends and family all together. Times have changed, though your slightly older, your spirit still shines bright like it did in your youth. You’re still working your way with the guitar. You’re still dreaming like you did in that old garage. And you’re still singing those same old tunes you were singing with your Grandma, all that time ago. This time though, while you’re on the way to the next gig.
