Desi Bozukova

Beautiful soul voice Desislava Bozukova is a passionate singer, ukulele enthusiast and musical theatre lover. She describes herself best in one sentence: "I sing as long as I can remember, it's a way of breathing and I am eternally grateful to be able to share this passion of mine." Desi Bozukova likes to experiment with styles as jazz, musical theatre, pop, soft rock, indie, swing, folklore. She is eager and open to try something new and share the journey and the entire experience with the audience. At Sofar Sounds Plovdiv vol.2 she introduces her original song "Чичо доктор (Uncle MD)", as well as 3 more pieces: "Раят (Heaven)"; "Пия за Мария (Piya za Mariya)" and "Песента ти за морето (Wild Mountain Thyme song)" with new arrangements and in Bulgarian language. As a future project, Desi is currently preparing a setlist for a jazzy concert in Sofia at the beginning of May. The date is yet to be confirmed, so stay tuned!
