Debby Smith is a singer-songwriter who blends pop, neo-soul, and quiet reflection into music that feels like a journey through the inner world. Her songs don’t just set a mood—they trace emotions, invite stillness, and move gently through the messiness of life. Grown from a childhood full of change and noise, music became her way of finding calm in the chaos. Entirely self-taught and deeply intuitive, Debby’s voice emerged not from plans but from necessity—from listening closely to life, silence, and everything in between. Now, after her debut EP Peace of Mind (2019) and years of creative growth, she has released her first full-length album: LUNA PARK. Created over three years as an independent artist, the album is named after a street in Hamburg that links Debby’s home with the studio of her long-time producer Gregor Sonnenberg. It became a symbol of in-betweens—between movement and stillness, clarity and confusion. With influences like Olivia Dean, Alicia Keys, and Lianne La Havas, Debby’s sound blends soulful depth with cinematic calm. Her lyrics are personal and unafraid—touching on mental health, self-worth, love, and the courage to stay soft in a loud world. Supported by Initiative Musik, Debby is now stepping into a new chapter. After touring with Phil Siemers in 2023, she returns to the stage in 2025/26 with new songs and intimate live sessions from Home Studios Hamburg. LUNA PARK is an invitation to feel, to breathe, to wander.
