Daniel Piper is a comedian, writer and national poetry slam champion. He has been seen/heard on national TV/radio and has performed across the UK at festivals including Latitude, Bestival and Edinburgh International Book Festival. He has written and performed two smash-hit solo Edinburgh Fringe shows. Daniel is the 2017 Scottish National Poetry Slam champion. In May the same year, he came second in the world championships in Paris. Daniel's debut book of stories and poems, Arbitrary and Unnecessary, was published by Unbound in 2018, and he has written for The Skinny, The Alarmist and more. His comedy writing page is enjoyed by over ten thousand people on Instagram and was recently named a "must-follow account" by Wallpaper Magazine.
