Dan Zul

Dan Zul is a musical project born in 2015 in New York, formed by songwriter Dan Lizzul and his encounter with bass player Agnese Mari and drummer JD Foster. Inspired by spirituality, self-awareness, and tribal cultures, its sound blends hip-hop, reggae, and folk. Dan Zul’s lyrics address our relationship with nature and with our inner selves, questioning our role in the complex society we are forced to survive in as "civilized" human beings. In 2016 Dan Zul moves to Naples where he finds new sources of inspiration and new companions. The band has played live in Naples and in Italy and is currently working on new songs that hold promise for an album of rebirth.
