If it's a ‘baby done me wrong’ troubadour you’re after, this ain't your man. Colin Jones’ voice ranges from a raspy whisper to full throttle growl in true Delta Bluesmen tradition. Having built a reputation as one of Sydney’s best up and coming acts, Colin Jones and The Delta Revue have played their dirty blues with acts like, Gordi, Melody Pool, Leroy Lee and Joel Havea (Berlin) The band has seen the stage of venues such as, The Basement, Venue 505 and Hermann’s Bar for the charity concert, The Home Stretch. As well as appearing at well known events such as Little Features, Porch Light Sessions, The Batch Sessions and the Sydney chapter of the global pop-up gig Sofar Sounds. 2015 was a big year for Colin Jones & The Delta Revue as it saw the release of their first set of recordings – Toledo, OH. This record was arranged and recorded live over one week in the winter of 2012 in Toledo, Ohio, USA. With a desire to fully realize the vision of his sound, this year Colin is planning to add to the live collaboration that is The Delta Revue. They will also be taking the show to the road to play to their ever-increasing fanbase. So whether it's Colin Jones solo or backed by The Delta Revue, this is the sort of music that drives you to the dark night of the soul.
