Coby Sultan

Coby Sultan discovered a passion for music later in life after learning a few basic chords in his high school guitar class. When he moved to The Netherlands to pursue a career in professional soccer and study health sciences in 2018. After enduring a number of life changing events, including taking a step away from soccer, breaking up with his first girlfriend, and graduating college, the indie folk/rock singer/songwriter retreated to a farm in Portugal where he was able to process this intense period. It was there that he began writing a series of songs for a project titled, 'memories from your polaroids’ : a piercingly honest, and nostalgic EP that tells the story of his first relationship through the lens of her polaroid camera. Settling back into his hometown, he devoted the next year to the project, and discovering his sound. Despite having released music in the past, Coby considers this his first record as he steps out of the soccer world, and into the realm of music. This artistic expression brings together Coby's emotional journey, weaving his personal experiences into his music and creating a sound that is both unique and relatable to his listeners
