CHAMPS are Michael and David Champion. The brothers were born and raised on the Isle of Wight, a secluded diamond of land, sitting 4 miles from the UK mainland, known for its history of smuggling, its royal residents and its otherworldly air of isolation and solitude.
The band’s 3rd offering follows the critically acclaimed albums Down Like Gold and Vamala, and was released in September this year to widespread critical acclaim. It was recorded on the Isle of Wight in a former 12th century monastery with the help of US producer Sean Oakley (Frank Ocean, Portugal The Man, James Blake).
Their latest collection of songs sees the brothers combine immediate hooks with bold beats, shimmering vocals and rich production.
