Carly King

Carly King is a singer-songwriter based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. In 2020, she introduced the world to her unique sound with her debut single "Mountains, Alone". Which quickly earned over 500,000 streams in its first year, and was dubbed a song "on repeat." by Spotify. "Mountains, alone" now sits at around 2 million streams across all platforms and can be found on over 20,000 playlists worldwide. A near-lifelong songwriter, King taught herself how to play the guitar when she was only 11 years old. " My mom's boyfriend, now husband, moved into our house, he had so many guitars, I decided I had to play them - almost as a tax for him living in our house - I had no idea what I was doing at first - but then it quickly became my outlet" Having lost her father at the age of 4 to the terrorist attacks of September 11th, King's sound embodies the depth of her inner world and lived-in experiences of loss and love, her search for purpose, and the unwavering comfort of the outdoors. Her sound and live performances bring to mind the acoustic soulful atmosphere of Carole King, Jack Johnson & Tyler Childers. All of which hold high regard as inspirations for her. In 2023 Carly King, completed a 30 show D.I.Y tour across the mountain west and east coast USA. In February of 2024 Carly released a 4 song EP of songs from the tour, titled from A to B
