Calan Mai is a folk-rock trio based on the Sunshine Coast, comprising of Jordy Lawrence (Vocals, Guitar), Josiah Niven (Bass, Vocals) and Dylan Randall (Drums). Combining vivid imagery, unflinching honesty and a bent sense of humour, Calan Mai songs are stories you can sing along to—ear worms that come alive with real characters and lived-in authenticity. Calan Mai’s new single ‘Same Way I’ was recorded in Chicago and produced by Brian Deck (Iron & Wine, Counting Crows, Modest Mouse). It is the third single from their upcoming debut album, Maybe An Island Will Do – out early 2025!
