Ben Cipolla

Ben Cipolla is a Wiltshire-born singer-songwriter who is currently residing in Bristol, UK. With Sicilian heritage, he brings an assortment of different cultures and worldliness into his work. Possessing a naturally languid and confident vocal style, Cipolla’s singing has been described as “having liquid chocolate dripped in your ears”. His distinctive upbeat and percussive guitar style is inspired by the likes of Nick Drake, Jack Johnson and Lianne La Havas. Cipolla released his debut album ‘Jungle Kingdom’ in 2017. This led Cipolla to play a number of prominent shows including BBC Swing Jazz Prom in August 2017, Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2019 and Manchester Jazz Festival 2020. Cipolla's music also gained Clare Teal's attention on her BBC Radio 2 Show, as well as a main feature on BBC Introducing in the West. Cipolla has spent much of the last year writing and recording new music. Recording new music in some of the world's most distinguished recording spaces, in both Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios and the infamous Abbey Road Studios. With sensational new music on the way, Cipolla is definitely one to watch.
