Singer-songwriter Bella McKendree has been featured on BBC Introducing, in Music Week and named Clash Track of the Day. Marked by Earmilk as “one that you need to watch out for” she is somewhat of an enigma, a sweet demeanour but a bold message within her song and a “haunting voice that captures many.” (Born Music Online) Her musical journey began at the age of 11 wondering around the orchard behind her house creating songs acapella. She soon found her love for the piano and now the two hold a wonderful synchronicity that is captivating. Alicia Keys, Jeff Buckley and Kevin Prosch have all played a huge role in cultivating her musical style. Tipped by Live Unsigned as one to watch “this is a voice worth seeking out…performed to perfection”. 2019 saw the release of McKendree’s first album “Silver Birch”, recorded at Rak Studios and produced by Sean Hatton (Roo Panes). The album crosses an array of styles: from alt rock (Tori Amos, Wolf Alice) to Indie Folk (Fleet Foxes, Nick Mulvey). To date she has played 300+ shows in the U.K and toured Europe in 2017. Her past performance history includes her band headlining Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Café, Supporting Keaton Henson at Madame Jojo’s and Sennheiser, Berlin. “Bella McKendree is going to make waves in the years to come” Born Music Online hyperurl.co/silverapplemusic www.instagram.com/bellamckendreemusic www.youtube.com/bellamckendree www.soundcloud.com/bellamckendree www.twitter.com/bellamckendree
