Beerjacket

Beerjacket is the musical title of Glasgow alt-folk singer-songwriter, Peter Kelly. Beerjacket has shared the stage with many great musicians such as The National, Kristin Hersh, Feist, Ron Sexsmith, St. Vincent, Frightened Rabbit, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, Guillemots,, Joan As Police Woman and Tom Vek,. Matt Berninger of The National described Beerjacket as “the new Elliott Smith.” 2011’s The White Feather Trail was the first studio album by Beerjacket, recorded by Stuart MacLeod at Beetroot Studios. The record led to a television appearance playing to an audience of half a million people on BBC 2's The Review Show.
