Bald Chewbacca is the electronic conversion of singer-songwriter Angelo Romano. Inspired by his formation years in Berlin, the Netherlands and Barcelona, the project is a blend of groovy distorted bass lines, minimalist lyrics on vocoder and an eclectic mix of synthesisers, drone sounds and a FM radio bought at a nearby Chinese convenience shop. After a number of geography-related releases, Bald Chewbacca is now preparing a new experimental soundscaping experience located at a fake airport at the end of the world, to be brought to life onstage in 2022.
Bald Chewbacca has performed in Sofar Udine.
