Known for his versatile flow and lyricism, Bristol born Backsy has set off a thunder storm of noise since his debut single in 2020. The grime & rap MC has only released a small number of tracks until now but has made his presence widely known across his city and is beginning to expand to a national audience. His birthday single with fellow Bristolian Kdogg KT ‘Twins’ reached 80,000+ plays since it’s release in February 2022 and with a large catalogue of music announced to be released by the end of 2023 - including an upcoming dual sided project - Backsy is surely set to begin his takeover of the uk rap scene soon. He is also a co-founder of Bristol 140 specialists ‘Masters of Ceremony’ which consists of grade A MC’s Pratty & Kwazi and their wizard DJ Zukki. MOC have hosted their own monthly radio show on Decadance Bristol since August 2022 which is full of fiery grime sets and local bangers. If your sleeping now, you’ll miss the boat.
