Baba Sonya is the songwriting collaboration between Rachel Gawell and Mike Costaney. They met while playing together in River City Extension, of which Mike was a founding member. Rachel was a founding member of The Ballroom Thieves and has played in almost every musical setting, from orchestra to experimental noise band. This project is the first foray into songwriting for Rachel and Mike, and they hope you enjoy what they have made together.
