AYMZ

AYMZ is the new music project of the musician previously known as Amy Wald. Before AYMZ came out as non-binary, the previous project made a name for itself in the music scene in AT & DE with German pop songs that offered young members of the LGBTQIA+ community a space for reflection and identification resulting in a very loyal fanbase. This catapulted the song "Mehr Als Nur Ein Like" to number 1 in the Austrian Ö3 charts and number 2 in the Ö3 listener charts for several weeks. However, all of this began in 2018 with a self-organized busking-tour - venues and sleeping places were agreed via IG. After another DIY-tour in the summer of 19, club shows finally followed in addition to the release of the Amy Wald EP, namely as Germany support for the icon Conchita Wurst (February 2020). After two sold-out headline shows in Vienna and Salzburg, the Covid-19 break was used with a series of singles to achieve the aforementioned successes on radio and television and even an Amadeus nomination ("Best Songwriting"). After various festival appearances (CSD Munich, Donauinselfest, Kultursommer Wien, Theatron Musiksommer, Munich 2021), the debut single "X" followed in February 2022, which has already convinced on German MC radio (including MDR Sputnik, BigFM, DasDing, Unser Ding and many more). In September the long-awaited debut album "PYROLYSE" was released and from October and November AYMZ will be on the road as a headliner through Germany and Austria at a total of 12 club dates. A WDR Rockpalast live session of the entire album will also be released on October 9th! In May 2023 AYMZ will be on tour supporting YAENNIVER. photo: © AYMZ/Serafima
