A gifted singer, songwriter and lyricist, Anthony Ramos was born and raised in Bushwick, NY and is of Puerto Rican descent. He first made his mark in the TONY and GRAMMY award-winning Broadway smash Hamilton. Ramos began his music career on his own terms in 2018 developing a sharp and soulful signature take on contemporary music. He teamed up with producer Will Wells for The Freedom EP, released via his own “Whole Team Winnin’” imprint, which garnered far-reaching acclaim from Billboard and many others. Whilst working on his debut album slated for release in the fall of 2019 via Republic Records, he appeared in the Academy Award-winning film A Star Is Born, starring Lady Gaga, where he played ‘Ally’s’ (Gaga) best friend and in the critically-acclaimed Netflix series She's Gotta Have It, created by Spike Lee. Ramos is currently in production as the lead in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s highly-anticipated ‘In the Heights’ movie directed by Jon M. Chu. His highly anticipated album 'The Good & The Bad' will be released on October 25th.
