Singer/songwriter Andrew Smith creates nostalgic and reflective, piano-driven, contemporary pop. Inspired by his love of songwriters like James Taylor and Randy Newman, Smith pulls elements from 1970s piano pop, The Great American Songbook, and contemporaries such as John Mayer and Ben Rector. His new single “HomeGoods” was recently endorsed by the HomeGoods brand. The poignant song narrates Smith’s feelings of melancholy while shopping at the popular store. Featuring Beatles-esque production and warm tender vocals, “HomeGoods” is humorous, anthemic and intimate at the same time. His new album is slated to drop in June 2023. The album explores the unique challenges of growing up in a heteronormative world with Smith's unmistakable humor and nostalgic voice, in a production style that mirrors the bumpy ride of finding love in modern society.
