Growing up in Manchester, Alia would spend her spare time songwriting in her notebook. After moving to London, Alia has been able to bring her music to life in the studio and collaborate. Studying singers such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Julie London has massively influenced Alia’s smooth and jazzy vocals. Alia is inspired by a range of musicians such as Hermanos Gutiérrez, Lianne La Havas and ELIZA.
