Alex Gibson

Eight years ago, Alex Gibson embarked on a musical journey from Sydney to London – the home to many of his musical heroes. Having released his debut album This Is Life in 2012, Alex embraced the next step of his career and quickly earned a reputation as one of London’s hardest working and most exciting musical acts. Through his hard work and his electric live presence, Alex has performed at various iconic London venues including; The 100 Club and OMEARA and was even featured as one of ‘Timeout London’s’ rising stars in 2016. From busking on Portobello Road, to awing performances for ‘Sofar Sounds’ – Alex’s style is adaptable, fierce, soothing and raw, with appeal across various generations and stages. With a cumulation of both classic and modern influences, Alex has mastered his own timeless sound with immense passion, skill and determination. In 2021 Alex released his sophomore Album ‘Thirty’ with critical acclaim, with many songs being premiered on ‘Triple J Roots N All’ and ‘Amazing Radio’ UK and US. This Album takes the listener on a journey of raw emotion with beautiful and varied delivery reflecting everything that is Alex Gibson. In recent years, Alex has lived back in Sydney, playing gigs all over town, and Australia. Alex has now just moved back to Europe, and is set to release new music later this year.
