Al Zamora's music is a unique fusion of various genres, including metal, hard rock, blues, R&B, and folk, with roots in both Costa Rica and Philadelphia. Despite facing a difficult battle with pediatric leukemia as a child, he found comfort in playing Guitar Hero and began his journey as the self-taught singer/songwriter we know and love today. Al's music is influenced by the likes of BB King, Jimi Hendrix, and Ozzy Osborne among others, making him a rising star on the independent music scene. He has performed to packed crowds in Philly both as a solo artist and with his band and has entertained audiences all over NYC and DC. Al has headlined his own sold-out show at Fringe Bar, performed as a featured artist at SmoreFest 2023, Old City Fest on the City Winery Stage, Empire State Fest in New York City, and DC Coffee Festival. Furthermore, Al recently released his newest single, "Ride," on all platforms, with an EP set to be released early in March of this year. He is also remains one of Rec Philly's most viewed videos on YouTube to date. On the Eve of his EP Release Al is looking to gain more performance opportunities to expand his audiences and share his gift!
